Cold Cape

today the sun was shinning, the rain stopped even though it has been pouring of late. today was unusually calm.
this morning the radio reminded me, today is yom hashoah, holocaust remembrance day. today is the day millions of lives who were brutally stolen are remembered.
today is also the day that a memorial service will be held for two dear souls that were taken away from many in the dead of night at a time when no one was suspecting it to happen. a senseless unexplainable murder of two very gentle souls.
so today i remember the 6 million who were murdered, those who fought and those who suffered. i remember the two men who had their whole lives ahead of them and then were plucked from us with single shots.
today i hope that humanity will try to learn from the mistakes of the past in order to afford a peaceful future, that when a weapon is picked up, the bearer will stop to think of the others who stand behind the one on whom they are about to afflict their anger.

a day in the life

today an interesting question found its way into my mind
what is the legal subjectivity of conjoined twins?

i have thought and thought some more and now i think i will have some hot chocolate and then think some more...
